// AI Code Rescue

Your AI-built app shipped. Now it needs an engineer.

We audit, repair, and harden codebases built with Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Lovable, Bolt, Replit, and other AI tools — so you can keep building instead of firefighting.

// Who this is for

Fast code, meet real users.

  • Founders whose MVP got traction faster than its code could handle.
  • Teams that can't add a feature without breaking another.
  • Companies preparing for a security review, due diligence, a big customer, or a fundraise.
  • Anyone told by a developer, "I'd rather rewrite this than touch it."

// Why this keeps happening

AI tools are fast and confident — and they leave predictable gaps. Independent research has repeatedly found that a large share of AI-generated code fails basic security tests, with broken authorization, missing access controls, and hardcoded secrets among the most common failures.1 The code isn't hopeless. It just hasn't been engineered yet.

// What we do

Root causes, not patches.

  • Codebase audits & architecture analysis
  • Root-cause debugging (not symptom patching)
  • Security hardening: auth, access control, secrets, injection, data exposure
  • Performance optimization and cost reduction
  • Refactoring into clean, structured, testable components
  • Automated test suites and CI quality gates
  • Production-readiness assessment
  • Handoff docs — plus rules files so your AI tools stop reintroducing the same problems

// How it works

Four steps. No surprises.

  1. STEP 01

    Find the thread

    15-hour Technical Audit. Written report, prioritized plan.

  2. STEP 02

    Stabilize

    Fix what's dangerous first: security, data integrity, crashes.

  3. STEP 03

    Restructure

    Refactor the worst areas, add tests and quality gates.

  4. STEP 04

    Hand off

    Docs, walkthrough, and guardrails so it stays fixed.

// Engagement options

Fixed scopes. Fixed prices.

90-minute Code Triage

We spend an hour in your repository, then walk you through the top findings on a 30-minute call. A fast, honest read on how bad it is — and the fee is credited toward the audit.

Sprint and Rescue are scoped and quoted after the audit, so the only number you commit to up front is the small one. Triage and audit fees are credited toward follow-on work. Ongoing support available as a monthly retainer.

// Pricing

Why it costs what it costs.

  1. 01

    A rescue is cheaper than a rewrite.

    Rebuilds commonly run 2–4 times the cost of fixing what already works, and take months longer. The audit tells you which you need before you spend either.

  2. 02

    The cost of not knowing.

    A single exposed database or leaked API key can cost more than the whole engagement in incident response, churn, and lost deals.

  3. 03

    Fixed scope, fixed price.

    No hourly meter and no surprise invoices.

  4. 04

    The audit fee isn't sunk.

    It's credited toward any fix work, and the report is yours either way.

  5. 05

    Senior hours go further.

    One experienced engineer finding root causes in 15 hours beats weeks of a junior developer patching symptoms.

// FAQ

Questions we get.

What is the Code Triage?

A $399, 90-minute look at your code: an hour reviewing the repository, then a 30-minute call with the top findings. The fee is credited toward a Technical Audit if you go ahead.

What is founding-client pricing?

Our first 5 Code Rescue clients get reduced rates in exchange for an anonymized case study and a testimonial. 4 of 5 spots are still open; once they're filled, prices move to the list rates shown.

Should we just rewrite it?

Usually not. Most AI-built apps are worth rescuing; a rewrite throws away what already works. The audit tells you which parts to keep and which to replace.

Which stacks do you work with?

TypeScript/JavaScript (React, Next.js, Node), Python, C++, SQL databases (Postgres/Supabase), and common cloud hosts. If your stack isn't listed, ask.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, before we look at any code.

Who owns the code?

You do. Always.

Do you need access to production?

No. A read-only repository invite is enough for the audit.

Will you stop us from using AI tools?

No. We make your AI tools more effective by giving them structure, tests, and rules to follow.

How fast can you start?

It depends on current bookings. Tell us your urgency in the request form and you'll get a straight answer on start dates in our first reply.
